as i lie underneath the maple tree,
thinking about all those things that makes me weep.
waiting for the earth to take me to its deep.
a nymph walks by it was a blessing to my eye.
i say, dear nymph, please take this mask off of me, i cant wear it anymore
my heart is too sore.
take these blades away from me, i cant use them anymore,
my heart is too sore.
take these wings i bear away from me, i cant protect the ones i love anymore,
let me knock on deaths door.
nymph let the dryads take me into their arms, my heart is torn apart.
the curse of the king of hearts has come to pass,
let these words be my last.

Those tears i cried
the day when i died
they meant so much to me
and now i just realized to see
those tears you shed
on my death bed
they meant so much to me
now i can hardly see
the fires of passion burn in my heart
those wings i bear i used to encase my fear
in the rain those tears douse away
the burning in my eyes unbearable in my life
its time my dear to forget the past
so my tears can turn to ash.
